Product Introduction

Tetrafluoroethane Gas (also known as HFC-134a or R134a) is a colorless, odorless gas that has been widely used as a refrigerant in a variety of applications, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and automotive cooling systems. As a leading manufacturer of this product in China, we take pride in the quality of our products and our commitment to providing a reliable and efficient solution for our customers worldwide.

One of the key benefits of Tetrafluoroethane Gas is its exceptional cooling properties. With a low boiling point of -26.3°C (-15.34°F), it can efficiently absorb heat and provide effective cooling in a wide range of applications. It is also non-corrosive, non-toxic, and non-flammable, making it a safe and reliable choice for use in industrial, commercial, and residential cooling systems.

In addition to its cooling properties, Tetrafluoroethane Gas is also highly efficient and cost-effective. It has a low global warming potential (GWP) and a low-ozone depletion potential (ODP), making it an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants such as CFCs and HCFCs. It is also compatible with a wide range of materials and equipment, making it easy to use and maintain.

At our manufacturing facilities in China, we use advanced production processes and quality control measures to ensure that our Tetrafluoroethane Gas meets the highest standards of purity and performance. Our products are regularly tested and certified to ensure that they meet all regulatory and safety requirements, and we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and support.

We believe that our Tetrafluoroethane Gas offers merchants a highly competitive and reliable solution for their refrigeration and cooling needs. Whether you are looking to upgrade your existing systems or to develop new products and applications, our team of experienced professionals is here to help. What is Tetrafluoroethane?

1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C2H2F4, R-134a refrigerant, aliases R134a, HFC134a, HFC-134a, tetrafluoroethane, trade names are SUVA 134a, Genetron 134a, KLEA 134a, etc., are the most widely used medium and low temperature environmentally friendly refrigerants. Tetrafluoroethane (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) is recognized and recommended by most countries in the world because R-134a belongs to HFC substances (non-ODS substances Ozone-depleting Substances)-so it does not destroy the ozone layer at all The environmentally friendly refrigerant used is also the mainstream environmentally friendly refrigerant, which is widely used in the initial installation and refilling of new refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment during maintenance.

Application of Tetrafluoroethane:

R-134a is the most widely used medium and low temperature environmentally friendly refrigerant. Due to the good comprehensive performance of HFC-134a, it has become a very effective and safe substitute for CFC-12. It is mainly used in the use of R-12 (R12 , Freon 12, F-12, CFC-12, Freon 12, dichlorodifluoromethane) refrigerants in most areas, including: refrigerators, freezers, water dispensers, automotive air conditioners, central air conditioners, dehumidifiers, cold storage, commercial refrigeration, In refrigeration equipment such as ice water machines, ice cream machines, and refrigerated condensing units, it can also be used in aerosol propellants, medical aerosols, insecticide propellants, polymer (plastic) physical foaming agents, and magnesium alloy protection gas etc.

Although R134a refrigerant is the most common choice to replace Freon R12 in newly installed refrigeration equipment, but because R134a and R12 have different physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance, and compressor oil, etc., for refrigeration equipment initially installed with R12 refrigerant For after-sales maintenance, if you need to add or replace the refrigerant, you can still only add R12, and usually you cannot directly replace R12 with R134a (that is to say, it is usually not possible to replace it with blood).

Tetrafluoroethane Packing Specifications:

Disposable tin can packaging: 300g/piece, 30 pieces/box;

Disposable steel cylinder packaging: 13.6kg/bottle;

Reusable steel cylinder packaging (need to recycle the packaging cylinder): 400kg/bottle, 800kg/bottle.

Supporting the use of:

The refrigerating machine oils usually used with R-134a refrigerants include: Emkarate RL32H, RL68H, RL100H, RL170H, RL220H, ICEMATIC series, SOLEST series, etc.; what kind of refrigerating oil is finally used in different equipment and different application places should follow the refrigeration compression According to the recommendations of the machine and refrigeration (air-conditioning) equipment manufacturers, or according to the specific conditions of the refrigeration compressor and refrigeration equipment, it is determined to use the refrigerator lubricating oil with the same design requirements, that is, select the equivalent refrigeration oil.

Precautions

Technical measures: Handle in a well-ventilated place. High pressure state. Make sure that the internal pressure of the reaction equipment does not exceed the pressure of the cylinder. For safety reasons, a check valve is installed on the gas induction flow path. Do not remove the check valve until the contents have been used up. Wear protective equipment when handling. Wash hands and face thoroughly after handling.

Handling Precautions: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Storage conditions: Avoid sunlight. Store in a well-ventilated place. Do not expose to environments above 40°C. Storage must be locked. Store away from incompatible materials such as oxidizing agents. R-134a refrigerant steel cylinders are pressurized containers, and should be kept away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight during storage, and usually stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse.

Transportation: When handling, it should be loaded and unloaded lightly to prevent damage to cylinders, valves and other accessories.

Conditions to Avoid: Heat

Materials to Avoid: Oxidizing agents, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals.
